There is only one thing this cat wants: find its human. Getting there is the tricky part.
Save My Human is a tile-based puzzle game where you move a cat through a series of paths, hazards, and awkward little situations. The controls are easy, but the route is where things get interesting. One wrong turn can leave you heading in the wrong direction, so it pays to look around before making a move.
Move the cat one square at a time with the keyboard arrows or the on-screen buttons. Take a quick look at the tiles around you before moving, because the wrong turn can leave you stuck. Find a safe route and get the cat all the way to its human.
The interesting part of Save My Human is not the controls. Anyone can press an arrow. The real question is which arrow should you press next?
A path that looks perfectly safe from the starting point may not be so useful once the cat is halfway through it. Sometimes the better move is the one that gives you more room to work with later. Other times, you may have to backtrack and try an entirely different route.
That gives the game a nice pick-up-and-play rhythm: look at the board, make a move, see how the route changes, and work it out from there.
Save My Human keeps things small and straightforward. You have a cat, a maze of tiles, and one familiar face waiting at the other end. The fun comes from figuring out how to connect the two.
Some stages will click almost immediately. Others may have you staring at the board for a moment before the right route finally makes sense. Either way, the next move is always yours.
