Your weapons can shoot without you pressing a button, but that won't save you if you get cornered. Shell Survivor is an arena survival roguelite where you play as a scarred little egg fighting waves of purple aliens in a graveyard. You handle movement and dodging while your weapons attack automatically. The real challenge is building a setup that can handle whatever the next wave throws at you.
Shell Survivor gives you 17 playable characters from the start, each with different strengths and weaknesses. You can carry up to six weapons, choosing from 56 weapons and 136 items. Guns, swords, rockets, turrets, and landmines all offer different ways to deal with enemy swarms.
The shop between waves is where your run can take a different direction. Spend materials on new gear, reroll the available stock, or lock an item for later. Found two identical weapons of the same tier? Merge them to create a stronger version, up to tier 4.
There's a catch: buying everything you see isn't a reliable strategy. Your build needs enough firepower to clear aliens without leaving you trapped.
A standard run ends after wave 20, but winning opens the next Danger level. There are seven difficulty levels, including Nightmare, where enemies hit harder and special events make survival tougher. You can also enable Endless mode before starting if you'd rather see how long your build lasts.
Play Shell Survivor online if you enjoy turning random drops into a powerful build and figuring out why a setup that crushed early waves suddenly falls apart later. The weapons handle the shooting. Staying alive is still your problem.
