Monster Rush 3D

Monster Rush 3D looks like a simple running game at first, but the fun really comes from what happens at the end of each run. You drag your character left and right, pick up yellow hearts, and try to reach the finish with as many as possible. That number matters because it affects how far you can punch the boss chimpanzee and how much damage you can cause to the buildings behind it. There are also eight other animals to unlock, which gives you another reason to keep playing once you start getting better at the runs.

How to Play Monster Rush 3D and Collect More Yellow Hearts

1
Keep your character lined up

I found it much easier to grab hearts when I made small moves instead of dragging all over the screen.
2
Look for the next group

I usually check where the next hearts are before moving, otherwise I end up turning too late.
3
Leave a bad heart behind

Not every heart is worth going after. If one takes me too far off the path, I just let it go.
4
Don't overcorrect

I used to swipe too hard whenever I wanted to change direction. That usually made me miss the hearts I was actually trying to collect.
5
Remember the boss at the end

The run isn't really over when you reach the finish. The hearts you've picked up decide how hard that final punch is going to be.

Monster Rush 3D Beginner Mistakes vs Better Playing Habits

Beginner MistakesWhat Usually HappensBetter Playing Habits
Moving around too muchYou lose your position and miss the next groupMake smaller movements and stay lined up
Chasing every heartYou miss hearts that were easy to collectTake the safer route when needed
Looking only at the characterDirection changes come too lateKeep an eye on what's coming ahead
Trying to move as fast as possibleYou make messy turns and miss pickupsFocus on staying in control
Forgetting about the finishYou treat the run like the finish doesn't matterRemember that every heart helps with the final punch

How Your Choices Before the Finish Affect the Final Punch

The part I like most about Monster Rush 3D is that the final punch gives the whole run a purpose. You can reach the finish quickly, but that doesn't mean you had a good run. Every heart you picked up along the way adds to what happens when you finally meet the chimpanzee. Once you see that connection, you start paying more attention to your route instead of simply trying to get to the end. A few extra hearts can turn a weak punch into a much more satisfying hit, especially when you see the buildings come crashing down afterward.
