Being a superhero sounds exciting until you actually have to deal with a city full of gangs, zombies, and enemies coming after you. City Hero puts you in Vice Town and gives you the freedom to decide how you want to move through it. Stay on the streets, climb onto rooftops, or swing between buildings when you want to get somewhere faster.
One of the best parts of City Hero online is getting around Vice Town. You aren't stuck following the streets from one mission to the next. The rope lets you take a shortcut across buildings, while jumping and sprinting come in handy when you're moving around at ground level. Once you start using the rooftops, the city feels much bigger and more open.

Gangsters are only one part of the trouble. In City Hero, you can use your strength for close combat or switch to weapons when you need some distance. The choice can change depending on where you are and how many enemies are around.
Then the Zombie Arena takes things in another direction. Instead of dealing with a few enemies at a time, you have to survive one wave after another. Staying alive becomes harder as the pressure builds, and the robot boss waiting later gives you an even bigger fight to prepare for.
Having super strength is useful, but it doesn't automatically make every situation easy. City Hero gives you a whole city to move through and lets you decide how to use your abilities. Swing across traffic, chase a mission, pick up a weapon, or simply explore until you find something worth investigating.
The controls are straightforward:
With gangster missions, zombie waves, a robot boss, unlockable outfits, and different ways to travel around Vice Town, City Hero is less about simply having superpowers and more about finding your own way to use them.
