Think all platformers are the same? Super Oscar says nah.
It's got colorful worlds, secret stuff hidden everywhere, and levels that start easy but slowly crank up the difficulty - testing both your reflexes and your patience to explore every nook and cranny. Easy to pick up, but surprisingly addictive once you get into it.
Your job is simple: get Oscar to the end of each level. Don't die from traps, stomp on enemies to take 'em out, grab as many coins as you can, and look for the fireball power-up so you can attack from a distance. Also, smack suspicious-looking blocks—some of 'em have goodies inside.
Each world throws new BS at you: moving platforms, spikes, and tougher enemies. So learning the jump timing and poking around every corner becomes just as important as actually reaching the finish line.
The first few levels were easy. Later on? Moving platforms + enemies everywhere = actual challenge. I missed a number of hidden blocks on my first run. I only found them after replaying the old stages. Controls felt solid the whole time - every death was my fault, not the game's. Simple platformer, but patience beats speed every time.
