Meccha Chameleon is an online hide-and-seek game where hiding is more than finding a clever spot. Hiders don't transform into objects. They paint their bodies to match the surrounding colors and find a spot where they're harder to notice. Seekers must look carefully for players hiding among the environment before time runs out.
At first, Meccha Chameleon looked like a normal hide-and-seek game. I simply found a corner, stood still, and hoped the Seekers would walk past me.
They never did.
A plain white character is easy to spot, no matter how good the hiding place is.
Everything changed once I realized the goal wasn't just to hide. I had to become part of the environment. By painting my character to match nearby walls, trees, or floors and choosing the right pose, I could disappear in plain sight. Suddenly, Seekers were walking right past me without noticing.

Even with good camouflage, I still got caught. The problem wasn't the paint anymore. It was my position. Standing in an unnatural place or using the wrong pose made me stand out, even if my colors matched perfectly.
